~an everyday, common item that has many gaps, spaces or holes (such as a set of railing, a lawn chair or a potted plant)
Rather than drawing the object, we are going to draw everything behind and around it. This is a study of negetive space.
Anywhere that You can see past the object you have selected, draw what you see beyond it. When you are done, there should be a blank white hole, in the shape of the object you selected for the project. It should be as though you took a pair of scissors and cut perfectly along the edges of the object and removed it completely from an, otherwise, normal picture.
Pay attention to the shapes of the size of the gaps/holes/ect and the distance between them.
Good luck with this project! If you have any questions, comment here, and we will do our best to help you along!

An artist must create as often as possible. To cease this task is, to the soul of an artist, as ceasing to breathe.
